Extra-curricular activities galore
Taking part in enjoyable and engaging extra-curricular activities is an important part of your child’s time at Moor Allerton. In Years Three to Six, the extra-curricular activities includes a range of residential courses to Delamere Forest, Edale, a cultural tour of Edinburgh and Boreatton Park in Shropshire. Children in Year Six can also choose to take part in the annual ski trip to France.
These experiences, together with a variety of enrichment opportunities including fencing, gymnastics, ballet, football, taekwondo, judo and cross country, all play a vital role in developing an enjoyment for interesting activities for the present and the future.
The children often perform in public individually and as members of the choir and orchestra. Individual music tuition is available during the school day. Guitar, flute, brass, piano, drums and violin are just some of the instrumental lessons on offer.
