About the Role and You

Contract type: Permanent, all year round

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am – 5:30pm

Salary: £22,300 per annum

Start date: Immediate start available

As a Housekeeper, you’ll help ensure our school is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation. Your work will have a real impact on the daily experience of our children and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily cleaning following established schedules
  • Clean, wash, sweep, mop, dust, polish and vacuum a variety of school areas
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in toilets and washrooms
  • Respond flexibly to changing cleaning needs around the school
  • Work collaboratively with the wider housekeeping and facilities team

About You

  • We’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing a thorough job and enjoys making a difference.
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Friendly, reliable and approachable nature
  • Willingness to learn and undertake training
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • First Aid qualification (desirable)
