About the Role and You
Contract type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Dependent on experience
Start date: September 2026
As a Primary Class Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and supporting the academic, social and emotional development of pupils.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that support pupils’ progress and inspire a love of learning.
- Preparing effective lesson plans, resources and assessments to support pupil development and achievement.
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child can flourish academically and personally.
- Promoting high standards of behaviour and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection at all times.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the curriculum and adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of pupils and the wider school community.
About you
We are looking for a motivated and committed teacher who is passionate about making a difference.
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
- A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (advantageous)
- Experience designing and delivering engaging schemes of work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- A strong commitment to continuous professional development and improving teaching practice
